How many hours of instruction are in PLATO Courses (Average Completion time)?

How many hours of instruction are in PLATO content? You may also want to know the average time it takes for learners to complete an activity or module in PLE/PLATO Courseware.

This information is in the pacing guide section of the teacher's guide and in the syllabus for each course. Each module is listed with the number of days it should take to complete and that assumes a 1 hour class period each day.

The actual time to complete activities will vary among Learners, especially if Learners are able to exempt from modules by doing well on unit pretests. As a general guideline, however, expect one hour per module. A module usually consists of a tutorial, application and one or more mastery tests, although some curricula are structured somewhat differently.
