The assignment links in a Global Language course are grayed out and are inaccessible for a Learner. Other Learners in the course do not have this issue. Educators can also access the assignment links when they're logged into the Middlebury Interface.
Educators have the option to ensure Learners complete all assignments in a lesson before moving on, which is referred to as Lesson Constraining. Assignment links are grayed out and inaccessible until they finish assignments from the previous lesson. The same result will occur if an educator resets a quiz to allow the Learner to retake it. They must retake the quiz before moving on. The setting is disabled by default and can be found in Classroom properties.
If this setting is enabled, communicate with Learners when resetting quizzes so they know they have to retake it before they can move on.
