PLATO Content Retirement in PLATO Courseware

Retirement dates are approaching for older versions of the following courses. What does this mean? Once the retirement date is reached these courses will no longer be available to create new classes for. They will also not appear in Browse Curriculum. Educators are able to preview the content in existing classes via Class Curriculum. The lastest versions (v2.0, v3.0, v4.0, v5.0, etc) of these courses should be used for any new classes. Resources that have been customized using these older courses will still be available even after the retirement date. While there is no expectation that customers have to re-customize courses to include new versions of these courses, we highly recommend it as they are retired for good reason, use the latest content and technology, and we recommend using the newest version. Older versions are not maintained or supported.

Edmentum now retires courses and curriculum in July and January only, unless otherwise noted. Retirement flags now appear for content slated for discontinued support in the next 6-12 months, beginning with discontinuations in January 2017. Note that replacement courses and curriculum will be available prior to the retirement dates. Note that Edmentum never takes away content that is currently used as a custom course, class, and/or assignment.
