PSSA Test Pack Scoring Instructor Graded Questions

Explanation

For the Pennsylvania Math Test Packs, there are two questions in each test that require the instructor to score. They are multi-part; Part A, Part B, and Part C. A total of 4 points are available for this multi-part question and should be graded using the following guidelines.

  • Part A is worth 1 point.  Note: When the question is considered to be partially correct, the instructor can elect to give partial credit by scoring 0 points.
  • Part B is worth 1 point.  Note: When the question is considered to be partially correct, the instructor can elect to give partial credit by scoring 0 points.
  • Part C is worth 2 points. Note: When the question is considered to be partially correct, the instructor can elect to give partial credit by giving 1 point rather than the potential 2.

We are working to update the instructions in the question to include scoring guidelines as well as limiting the number of points to the maximum per part (A, B, and C). Until this is updated in the platform, we recommend using the guidelines above.
