Cookies are text files retained on computers by browsers containing various information in regards to a specific website visit. Another way to think of this is that a cookie is a message given to a web browser from a web server that is then sent back to the web server whenever the browser requests a page from it.
To allow or block Cookies on Microsoft Edge on Windows 10, do the following:
- Open Edge browser
- Click on the 3-dotted ‘More’ link to open its Settings
- Scroll down and click on View Advanced Settings.
- Again scroll down till you see the setting for Cookies.
- When here, from the 3 options, select one.
The available options are:
- Block all Cookies
- Block only third party cookies
- Don’t block cookies.
To allow all Cookies, ensure that Don’t block cookies is selected, and restart Microsoft Edge.
