Logging in to the production and test environments

How To

The following steps will allow you to log in to your Testing and Production environment's respectively

Test Environment

To log in to the test environment go to the website api.nextple.platoweb.com. Here you will be prompted to enter a username and password. 

To create the entry for the User Name field, we will combine your PLE Account Login and PLATO Name separated by a pipe. For example, if your PLE Account Login is "PSD01" and your PLATO Name is "user1" the basic auth username would be "PSD01|user1".

  1. Enter "PSD01|api" in the user name field.
  2. Enter your password in the Password field.

Production Environment

 

To log in to the production environment go to the website api.ple.platoweb.com. Here you will be prompted to enter a username and password. 

To create the entry for the User Name field, we will combine your PLE Account Login and PLATO Name separated by a pipe. For example, if your PLE Account Login is "PSD01" and your PLATO Name is "user1" the basic auth username would be "PSD01|user1".

  1. Enter "PSD01|api" in the user name field.
  2. Enter your password in the Password field.

Other Considerations

Changes made to the production environment affect your Administrators, Educators and Learners immediately.
